The information on this website, including blog posts, is for general education only. It is not medical advice, and it does not replace care from your physician or other licensed healthcare provider. Reading this website does not create a dietitian and client relationship.

Nutrition services support, but do not replace, medical care. Always talk with your physician before stopping or changing any medication, and do not ignore or delay medical advice because of something you read here.

This website and our messaging are not for emergencies. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call 911 right away.

Appointments are booked through Practice Better, our secure client portal. Your first step is a free, 45-minute discovery call. Your client relationship begins after your initial consult, once you and Jennifer agree to work together. Sessions are available in person, by phone, or by video.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know as soon as possible, ideally at least 24 hours before your appointment, so the time can be offered to someone else.

Current session and lab prices are listed on our booking page. Payment is due at the time of service unless we agree otherwise. Prices may change, but the price you agreed to when booking will be honored for that appointment.

Services are private pay. If you plan to seek reimbursement from insurance or a health savings account, we can provide a receipt, but we cannot guarantee coverage.

Functional labs are always optional and are recommended only when they can add clarity to your care. Tests are processed by outside lab companies, and lab fees are paid in addition to session fees.

Results are used to guide nutrition and supplement recommendations. They are not used to diagnose disease. Please share any concerning results with your physician.

• Supplement recommendations are personalized and optional. Anyone may order through our Fullscript dispensary, and clients receive 20% off.
• Ordering supplements on your own does not make you a client and does not include personalized advice. Please check with a healthcare provider before starting something new.
• Tell Jennifer and your physician about all medications, supplements, allergies, pregnancy, or breastfeeding before starting anything new.
• Supplements are made and shipped by their manufacturers and Fullscript, whose own return policies apply.

These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Video sessions and messages between visits take place in Practice Better’s secure, HIPAA-compliant client portal. Please use the portal, rather than regular email, text, or social media, for anything about your health. Messages are answered during business hours and are not monitored for urgent needs.

Virtual and phone sessions depend on a working internet or phone connection. If a session is interrupted, we will do our best to reconnect or reschedule. Jennifer follows the licensure rules that apply to where you are located during a session, so please let us know if you are outside Wisconsin.

Your health information is protected under HIPAA. Our privacy policy and our Notice of Privacy Practices, which clients receive, explain how it is used and protected and describe your rights.
